Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche at Nalanda West June 23-24, 2012
Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche will be teaching on Ngulchu Thogme’s Thirty-Seven Practices of the Bodhisattva, Saturday and Sunday June 23 & 24 from 10am-12pm & 3pm-5pm. The great sage Ngulchu Thogme gave a complete instruction for the bodhisattva’s way of life in this pithy set of verses. The Thirty-Seven Practices is a distillation of Shantideva’s Way of the Bodhisattva, one of the most revered texts in the Buddhist canon. “Teachings on the bodhisattva’s way of life are among the most profound Buddhist teachings because they emphasize getting rid of our ego-clinging. We have a tremendous history of ego-clinging; we’ve been perpetuating the same habits over eons.”—Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche. Early registration is recommended
